Best Frozen Pizzas, According To The Pros: Top 5 Pies Most Recommended By Experts

We’ve all had those long days of work where we’d just rather forgo cooking dinner and end our nights reaching for something quick out of the freezer to make for dinner. Of course, there may be no safer option than going with frozen pizza for the entire family. These days though, there are so many options to choose from at the grocery store, so it certainly pays to know what the best frozen pizzas are, according to the pros.

Study Finds did the research, visiting 10 “expert” websites in an effort to find answers to the age-old question – which is the very best frozen pizza? The best frozen pizza I've had is a brand called Home Run Inn. Excellent. For "doctoring up" a pizza, I use Red Baron's original crust cheese pizza and start there.

Home Run Inn and Motor City are the two best brands of frozen pizza, hands down. No other brand even comes close to those two.

As someone who eats a shit load of frozen pizzas, 2-3 a week, my favorite is Home run INN, by far the best, then I'd have to go with Red Barons new 'Fully Loaded' line of pizzas, a super crunchy pan screaming Sicilian is very good I agree, also the Outsiders pizza company 'Detroit' style is Mike's' is amazing and comes with Italian seasoning to throw on' California Pizza kitchen is good but makes a awesome frozen pizza as well.

We like Red Baron Supreme pizza. We have had Jack's and Great Value pizzas from Walmart. They're pretty good. Lately, we've gotten the Motor City Supreme pizza and love it. It's more expensive but it's really good.

I use to like Home Run. My wife use to prefer Red Baron. Now we both agree the best is Palmero’s Ultra Thin crust (preferably pepperoni). Palmero’s aren’t available everywhere, so you may have never heard of it. We’ve found that thin crust frozen pizza does best vs thicker/pan/cheese stuffed crust. So, our second choice is Red Baron thin crust. Home Run Inn has a great sauce. Screamin’ Sicilian is also good (same company makes Palmero’s).

I always add some sauce on top because none of them put enough sauce on.

Tried all of these, they're ok. Whatever i eat, i flip it over, drill about five holes near the center, spread out a little olive oil on the back and sometimes more pepperoni and sometimes extra whole milk Mozzarella. Im still searching for a go to.

Try Chicago's frozen Home Run Inn pizza. Very delicious and the crust is unique ..

DiGiornio is my pick for best frozen pizza, but with all the pizzas that I eat, I'm always adding either my best Italian restaurant's sauce
or toppings like anchovies, peppers, mushrooms, olives, capers

Digiorno is the worst pizza, best deal is a 3.75 Tony's, just add a few things from the fridge best frozen pizza

Geoff, I also like to doctor the pizza but I'll add extra motzerella cheese & put garlic on it but usually its a Belatoria Sumpreme. I'll also stick the cut peices in the microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds just let it cool off for a minute.

Had i not stayed til the end to hear the good things he had to say about a doctored up jacks thin crust cheese pizza, idk if i would agree with this whole video, overall. That's definitely the way to go, imo. I cook up bacon, maybe throw sum mushrooms on it, top it with extra cheese, spread a little olive oil in the pan, if thats how ur cookin it, & leave in oven a few extra minutes. Thats how i like mine.

Albertsons had a frozen pizza years ago that was so good, and they stopped making it. 😢

I still remember it after all these years.
