Deadly method, dead sticking tubes on the DS for smallies in 30 to 45 FOW when they are semi inactive. We sometimes have to place the hook as high as 60 inches off the bottom. Use a double drop shot with 12 to 18 inches of seperation too

When I first moved to Michigan and didn't know much about fishing up there, my go to was a drop shot. I knew it worked and I knew tubes worked too. I put the two together and that was my go to. Absolutely kills along shallow grass lines too, not just rocky ledges and deeper structure.
