Remove Sticky Rubber From Music Gear! (Quick and Easy Fix)

Quickly fix this super irritating problem with sticky rubber surfaces on your music gear and studio equipment! I've been super close to buying new equipment because of this - but the solution is cheap and easy to do :)

It can work for basically any rubber coating not limited to guitars, bass, midi controllers, midi keyboard, audio interfaces, headphones and more :)

Thanks, man! I must try it on my Moog Sub 37, as I recently messed it up with the acetone. This rubber is one of the worst things companies use in their gear.

broooo thank u for this video sooo much.I have brand ne Mad Catz F.R.E.Q 7 and they wore ruber coated so ruber melted on them.they wore standing for years in mu bed i was thinking to throw them away.And now after 20 min after i watcjed this they are usable

I used hand sanitizer on an emergency radio and a little WD 40 to finish up, it looks good, but will it last?

Spray suntan lotion will dissolve that stuff quickly.

But why does it happen? It happened to my headphones
