What’s New? There are no changes to the 2025 model year.
The2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid is powered by a 2L 4-cylinder with a pair of electric motors, it’s matched to an e-CVT and has a combined 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque, standard AWD in Canada. FWD and AWD options are available in the US. To every tank of regular fuel, you get about 835 km/519 miles.
There are two 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid trims in Canada and three in the US. Standard features for Canada include, 7” driver information display, 9” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, 8-speaker audio system, a heated steering wheel, black perforated leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, 8-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support and memory, 4-way power passenger seat, a moonroof and a power tailgate.
In the US, since you have more 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid trims, the following features are not standard but available, a 9” touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker audio system, leather trimmed seats, a power passenger seat, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats and a power liftgate. Instead standard features include, a 7” touchscreen with wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 6-speaker audio system, manual passenger seat and cloth upholstery.

Just got my CR-V Touring Hybrid yesterday and loving it! This is my fifth Honda and first CR-V.

We just bought the 2025 CR-V Hybrid Sport L two-wheel drive, and we really like it a lot. Matter of fact, we liked it so much, we gave up a Lexus RX 350 to buy the CRV. Great ride, appeal, affordable, and great gas mileage!

My 2000 Honda CRV is a beast. She may not be new and shiny, but she is reliable.

Zack rocking his favorite red plaid shirt! Most colorful thing in the interior.

Recalls don't scare me. What scares me are automakers not recalling vehicles they should be

Frankly I appreciate the simplicity of the CRV’s dash and controls. EZ peasy! I’m driving the Sport L (Hybrid). This car is one of the most comfortable cars I’ve ever driven. Great for folks with low back issues because of the adjustable lumbar support.

I wish they would add the full digital gauge, cooled seats a d a 360 camera in the touring, and bring back the spare tire and the panoramic sunroof!!

I laughed when Zack said “ Never rain in Vancouver” and he grabbed the handle as you pick up speed. 😆 😆 I have seen a Honda CR-V and I find big boxing looking. I never liked interior at all. Great show Andrea! 👍🏻👏🏻☕️☕️

Recently bought one and love the car. One thing is missing, Honda no longer includes the homelink system to open garage doors.

This vehicle is to me the most tempting in its class compare to the other 4 options. I had a test drive and it feels so much better to me than the RAV 4 hybrid. However, I think I am going to wait 2026 before I buy one. I hope that Honda is listening to the potential buyers who are looking for a few more refine touches for the price point of the vehicle. A 360 camera would be a must for me as I felt that the head rests and the seat belts of the back seats interfere significantly with the visibility at the back of the vehicle. I am a short person. Yes fast heating seat is important even here on Vancouver Island as that leather fabric is cold. I wish they would offer a cosier fabric even on the top trim. Finaly, some more appealing colours and material options although this would not be a deal breaker.

In the US where I live dealers are discounting the CRV. The RAV4 is hard to get and dealers are marking it up above MSRP. The CX 50 they are only taking orders and quoting 3 months until delivery. I have had a bad experience with Hyundai not standing behind their vehicles and telling me a quart of oil every 3k miles is acceptable. Thus why I am leaning towards the Honda

Personally, I absolutely love how simple, non-techy this vehicle is. Easy to operate. Not all of us want full tech beast mode.

The community that you report from is so beautiful. Love the homes and people walking around. Beautiful homes. You are very fortunate to live in such a lovely area.

Absolutely love my 2025 canyon blue CRV hybrid sport. Fabulous seats, steering, ride, mpg and interior. Just feels so solid and high quality.

Happy to see your take on the CR-V. I bought a '25 Sport-L l in July and have enjoyed it. I agree that the seat warmer is slow-ish, but works really well to heat my bum and back. I miss rain-sensing wipers on my trim, headlights are not the greatest and no available fog lights, which in the PNW are super useful. I did look into a spare tire for longer road trips and may invest in one for peace of mind.

I don't get it...$10K more expensive than the CX-50 HEV and missing numerous, valuable features: Panoramic roof, quality of interior, ventilated seats etc etc. Friends of ours just about bought the Honda but, after test driving the Mazda, that was it. Now if the Mazda could just move to P-HEV!

Its 2025 model and I really hate how small the screen is, why not use the Accord screen ?

Love my 24 Sport Touring.. Gas mileage is a lot lower than advertised though.. Combined, I am getting 34.5 and I drive like a grandpa.. Wish it had 360 degree camera (helps a ton in parking), power folding mirrors, more respectable horn ( current one sounds like a clown car), TPMS display by tire.

I've owned a Hybrid Touring for almost two years and it has been fantastic. The only missing feature is ventilated seats. Otherwise, the ride compliance and quiet interior are more upscale than you would expect which is why there's a premium on the price IMO.
I get about 6.5L/100kms in summertime but that rises to 7.5L/100kms in winter. All from mixed driving.

Hey Andrea, do you think that not have a spare tire was a bad decision. I was soo close to finalizing this. Not having one is making me move away. Is that a huge problem to look away?
