Thanks Caan, excellent video. Something must be done to stop these scumbags ripping customers off, but seeing the gambling commission are pretty useless, I don't see anything changing anytime soon.

Seems like some kind of class action lawsuit needs to be launched against the gambling commission as they are clearly not fit for purpose and only protect bookmakers.

You're absolutely right. There needs to be some protection for the punter here. It sounds like bookies are just starting to use this 'palpable error' loophole as an excuse not to payout rather than ACTUAL palpable errors which I would understand in extreme cases.

When bookies close winning accounts they're blocking all winners, leaving only losers, therefore how can any adverts promote 'lifestyle' winnings and the like when they never allow winning accounts to remain open? A straight-forward racket.

I also backed Mullinax at 175/1 on Netbet and been paid no problem

Pretty strong case for the bets to be paid out at the placed odds. IBAS would most likely rule in favor of the punter with evidence. Failing that a threat of small claims court would probably get them to pay out. Had similar issues in the past with terms changing for places after bets placed. Always been paid out when the bookie is at fault.

Back when Darren Clarke won the open he was 150-1 and at work we had a little gamble between us. I picked Vijay Singh and he pulled out at the last minute. I asked if I could Chang and they said yes. I picked Darren and I won £50.
I wished I had put a £10 on him at the bookies. That would have been my best priced winner ever.

At this point i think gambling commission are paid by the gambling companies to not take action

This is absolutely nasty. I had same issues even with live betting.... With over/under score they changed 1.8 odds after winning to 1.2 ... And when I asked they told it was their mistake.... Wrong odds!! Live!! Obviously if you're losing a bet with the odds of 1.1 it is not their mistake... They should compensate that as well...

10 bets they should be called that’s what I got before restricted to pennies. Also made it difficult to withdraw wanting more documents.
