Lumen in Twinmotion | Twinmotion Tutorial

preview_player
Показать описание
Lumen enables indirect lighting to adapt on the fly to changes to direct lighting or geometry—for example, changing the sun’s angle with the time of day or opening an exterior door.

In this tutorial, learn to use Lumen to render gorgeous stills and videos with close to path-traced quality, but in a fraction of the time.

Good tutorial.
It seems with TM there is always something that is not yet supported or reuqires more fine tuning where others like D5 have complete features with somple interface..

For those who have purchased the update, can you help with the following. I've purchased the update myself and have spent the last few hours troubleshooting some major issues.

First off, compared to other versions, it seems as though the program is not using my GPU for hardware acceleration. 4k Lumen renders force the program to crash stating that there's not enough memory. I have a RTX 3090 and 64GB of system memory. Path tracer renders work fine.

I opened up 2023.1.2 for a comparison and everything is running stable. I just rendered off an 8k high quality interior image in 2 minutes and 9 seconds.

I've looked at the Twinmotion settings and don't see anything that can help.

At this point, I can only conclude that the 2023.2 release is unstable and in my case unusable when using Lumen.

Everything looks great in the viewport, but exporting is the issue. If anyone has similar issues, please let me know.

I noticed that Lumen does not work when using Reflection Probes placed on glass and mirrors. Also it explodes using Neon lights and its reflections in glass.

Can you please say what background do you use, is it image or what?

Hi, do you still have to use and place reflection probes at windows/glass and mirrors when using lumen? Or does lumen eliminate the need for reflection probes?

I'd really like to see an in depth tutorial about how to correctly export fbx animations from Blender to Twinmotion. Please!

if you look at the ceiling in the other room its shimmering as if its under water. All my models look like this with lumen, they do not look right or real at all. I gave up with it. I know he addresses it, but the only solution is an overly bright scene.
