The second part of a lecture on American imperialism. Covers the events surrounding the 1898 Spanish-American War, Cuba, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico.
Corrections/notes:
11:15 - I accidentally said "Emiliano" instead of "Emilio" when referring to Emilio Aguinaldo
17:40 - when discussing Puerto Rican statehood, I accidentally said "Cuba"
Just a general note: I relied more on my notes recording this video because my military history is my weak spot. I got flustered a couple of times making mistakes and I stammered through in places. I wish this recording was more articulate but it will take too long to stop and start over. I hope it's still informative! ☺️
