I was pleased to see the young scimitar horned oryx with the adults. Game ranchers are to be commended for saving these endangered species - so long as they don't hunt too many of them. I would love to buy a big ranch in Texas and raise these beautiful animals.

Free range axis in Texas is a hell of a hunt! Way harder than whitetail, it was one of the most challenging hunts ive ever been on. Between 100 degree heat and axis sprinting everywhere the moment they smell you, it was tough.

I hope I build the love of the outdoors with my daughter. I want her to experience the wild and woods the way I do and love the hunt the same way. At least into the shooting sports to keep her dangerously skilled, aka my little Jane Wick. 😅 I just love the relationship of hunting that you have with your daughter that keeps you all close. Thats a bond any father would want with their child or children, and I want to keep that tradition going with my family. Love seeing the kills and types of guns used in your hunts. Got me ichin to get in the woods for turkey in Michigan.
