Our barn is finally in permitting!! Attaching a big greenhouse to it! This is in big blue Boulder county Colorado mountains. It’s taken 3 years to get to this point. Im so so happy!! Finally…….

It certainly is. Just saw businesses are now having vehicles on their property having their gas tanks drilled and fuel stolen. They project the cost of crude to rise between $140 and $160. Going to be Mad Max with everyone packing.

Enjoyed your talk! laughing a little about the nice freshly mowed trails you are walking. After the gasoline runs out the trails will be head high in tall grass, briars and young trees. It doesn't take long. I know because I maintain a little acreage and it must be mowed every two weeks to keep it like the property you are on. I have planted fruit trees of all kinds and have to fight off the insects or lose half my harvest. I have to work hard just to maintain what I have completed. Honestly, I love it ! Working the land provides a peace that's hard to find in anything else I do! I have to back off some times because I am in my late seventy's but return to work with joy in my heart as soon as I can. I am blessed with a good wife that hasn't always been on board with my preparing for future events because they haven't happened yet but I have noticed a gradual change in her that makes me so proud of her. She has become a gardening warrior and has taken up canning and has so much common sense that I am amazed by her. She calls me her 15/45 man. Work 15 min and rest 45! All I know is when we work together we get a lot more done? Imagine that!! POMO

This would be my suggested list for those on a buget of $100.00 or less and shopping at Walmart.
1. Pancake mix 10lbs under $8.00 (just add water)
2. Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli $ 1.25 per can ( these have both meat and pasta in the same can/ 320 cal per can/ best buy date 2 years out)
3. Flour 25lbs sack under $8.00
4. Thin Spaghetti Great value brand .99C per one pound box
5. Stove top stuffing mix (just add water) I think $2.00 per box
6. Idahoan instant mashed potatoes $1.00 per pack
7. Can of green beans great value .54 each
8, Ramen under $.300 a case (flat packs not soup cups)
9. Starkist tuna was 1.00 per 12.5 oz can
10. Salt .40 cents per pound
11. spices Great value 1.00 per container
12. Figure a dollar per pound for rice and beans depending what type of rice and beans you get.
This list is just to help you think of what you could buy to heip you get started building your food storage. For those who have been doing this for a while maybe this list will help you build your stock enough to help others. good luck

Skills skills skills. Just drank homemade dandelion root coffee. Making mango and strawberry fruit leathers, emergency Crisco candles, rosewater, plantain salve, and elderflower cordial. Grow, forage, make herbal remedies.

my husband and I are separated. we live separately and he called me and said that he tested positive for covid. I said I am going to Walmart what do you need, he said I don't have that much food and I am thinking to myself "I tell you all the time to take some of that moldy money and stock your cupboard for this reason but I got him some hormel dinners and tomorrow morning in am going to take home down some meatloaf and stuff peppers I canned just so he gas it. I look around and smile when I say I don't gave to go to the grocery store for a while but I do just to add a few things to my stock. I noticed today at Walmart that they didn't have any of the great value instant white rice that I use. they had the small boxes but not the big boxes. I have to take my daughter grocery shopping on Monday after work so I am going to pick up a few things to add to my stock. I think I am going to get a couple of the small boxes of instant rice to oven can plus a couple of other things for in my freezer. keep on prepping and everyone stay safe.

Have boxes to check off as to acting on societal changes. As the landscape changes start navigating it differently. As a boating reference watch the weather on the horizon. Things may change on the micro level so be ready to adapt. A bunker down event may never come to be and we may have to exist amongst the chaos. If for no other reason than to fain that we are impacted as hard as the community surrounding us.

Think about getting extended family to come live with u.
All living together can make it cheaper and easier for u all to survive.
Why have bills for 3 or 4 houses Wen u can have one.
Bible says one cooker is better than 10.
Living and sharing together can save so much money it's unreal.
Far cheaper to shop and cook for many.
Then there's heating bill etc and it all adds up.
Sit down and do the sums.
Parents shud definately carry their children's thru this.
I'm like a mother who will feed her kids first before she feeds herself.
I'm old so my whole duty is to get my kids thru this.
I'm going without everything to keep my kids afloat and alive.
Got another grankid due August too and he will take priority over everyone else, babies always come first.
Believe we are all gonna have to make sacrifices.
I'm like disaster, it will be the making of me spiritually.
My God taught me to garden so wat a beautiful test of my skills.
My endurance my patience my kindness all my spiritual faculties will be tested.
Serious I'm like embracing these times.
Ain't no fears within me, ain't anxious for nothing.
My God's prepared me ever so ever so good.

Hard to describe where I'm at, full of peace is one way to describe it.

gas is nuts down in SoCal here and they want to do another gas tax tf plus our 2A is dead, they are taking us as fools. IDK maybe we are, still voting as if it works since its an obvious that its an illusion. Stay strong and Trust in our Creator seek our eyes on YESHUA💯
