If you look at the average couple, the woman is typically more likely to own boots than the guy — we all know most guys still strut around in sneakers — but most women's boots aren't all that durable. This video is a great starting guide for boots for women bc I had no idea about Goodyear welts or replacing boots. I thought some boots were really expensive for no reason, but I still like wearing boots from my time in the military. And I really like the idea of saving money by being able to just replace the welt overtime.

Great video. I've had good luck this past year getting my wife into Red wings. Of note they do have a more comfort based insole than your typical mens heritage boots. I've actually found excellent deals on hers as they likely don't sell as well as the mens and were all 1sts. She has Iron rangers, Clara, Harriet (older with leather sole) and the sweet Indigo blue legacy Moc toes. She's holding out for some Gracies next. :)

Hopefully Truman may reconsider in the future as those look really fantastic.
