tilt your blade down and back towards the tracks then plow the hard ground. after a few cuts, you can come back and dress that up. it is so much easier on the machine. plowing a few streaks, busts the ground up. I have to do that on my 550 john deere, do to weight and it is direct drive.

The grading system on the dozer sure is nice. Seems like it does a really good job and takes all the guesswork out of building a pad. I never thought I would see the technology like what is available today, it's pretty cool. Nice message brother.
