It's a fact of life, for relatively little money, they can always lure Thai fighters to take on larger opponents & disadvantageous fight rules.

This footage was at a time where the fights between Muay Thai Vs. Kyokushin Karate were rigged, due to the fact Muay Thai was absolutely destroying Kyokushin Karate beforehand.
They brought in very lightweight and middleweight Muay Thai fighters against 200lb Heavyweight Karate Practitioners to simply humiliate them in the ring without any sort of way of it being fair.

While I do respect Karate (I’m currently practicing Kyokushin myself.) I can’t see how any of this makes Kyokushin look good given the context of the match.

Remember guys, Changpuek is prohibited to use Knees, Elbows, And hitting his opponent in the face but his low kicks is allowed. Which was clearly that Andy Hugs got got the rules in his favor.

Andy hug is 95KG and chang puek is 70KG that is the exact same thing as letting a skinny kid in school fight a buff kid in school it’s a 25KG difference is is absolutely absurd

This fight is clearly leaning in favor of Karate rules. Any traditional Muay Thai fighter under their rules would have been kneeing, elbowing, and sweeping at this point. If it was a brawl, you’d get to see the real outcome.

Está pelea yo la ví completa y si yo hubiera sido el peleador de Muay Thai no aceptaría la pelea ya que a el lo hicieron pelear con las reglas del karate. Fue una pelea desigual.el no podía utilizar sus puños a la cara le quitaron el 50 % de sus armas .no fue justo el Muay Thai es letal.
