When you're consuming Spanish in print or audio form, it's easy to fall into Spectator Mode and spend hours listening or reading without actually producing any Spanish. The best way to avoid this trap is to repeat out loud the content you're consuming.

I love it that you make it active. The most material doesn't have moments where you're supposed to pause. It's all just passive. I managed to get one sentence perfectly. A few times I forgot the message half way through but was able to figure out the rest myself. It was funny noticing how you increased the sentence length to such lengths that are not regularly used. Step by step. It's challenging but also very rewarding. I really liked that you didn't us to recall all the sentences you said cause that would kinda ruined the story.

Memorizing the sentences haven't been too difficult but I found that if I have to say the memorized sentence to someone even though I am not nervous [ my husband is my listening board] it is a little bit harder because I don't want to mess up. So my rule for me is say it to someone live or I guess you could record it and send it to someone, or phone someone. This is helping me really focus.

Edit: I recently read about a recent study of Spanish learners which found that reading and listening at the same time increased learning by about 50%.

Otro gran video Nacho! Solo tengo una pregunta, cuando hablas de una microsiesta, dices "se te empieza a caer la babilla..." Segun el diccionario, 'nanilla quiere decir 'stifle', or 'knuckle'. Entonces estoy un poco confundido por el uso aquí.
