Easily your best basing video, and I've been watching you for more than half a decade

We've secretly replaced The Imperial Palace's marble floors with EonsOfBattle marble ones. Let's see if they can tell the difference!

I've done something similar and have found that small specs or veins of gold paint look great as well. I appreciate the clarity and speed of this video. I'll have to check out your other stuff as well 😁

These is the most convincing marble bases I've ever seen! O.O

Just spot on, perfect balance between ease of replication and effect. Batching actually makes it easier. You knocked it out the park on this one.

Definitely keeping this paint method in the back of my head for future projects. Great work!

I was recently introduced to your channel by this specific video while working in custodes bases and holy shit! Thank you! The technique was so easy to do and I love the effect!

I like your sticky pallet method. Much more stable than turning a piece of tape on itself

Thanks a lot, I was looking to give my Necrons some lapis-lazuli shoulder armor, and this seems the perfect methode.

How did you know I was looking for this video for my Custodes Army??

I have to test this out with some other marble techniques I've seen. The finish is absolutely gorgeous, and I imagine the waste wouldn't be too big if you taped the bases down close to each other. I guess you can skip the plastic card by painting the crevices or cutting into your base directly with an exacto knife.

Exactly what I was looking for, going to be using this for a new a Slaanesh project, thank you

Have you tried the cleaning tissue trick for painting marble through the airbrush?

Works great, most realistic marble tiles I ever seen!

Very nice technique! I will use it to make base for mu ancien, forgotten wariorr.

Love this process! Quick question, could do the whole painting process on the plastic card, then cut them out for the bases?

Wow, that's so simple yet it works insanely well!

One question though: where would you buy plasticard?

Definitely going to keep this in mind if I get around to the Sororitas army I want to do.

That looks far better than you'd expect for the effort involved! And no airbrush!
I did like the bold effect before you toned them down :D
I'd also go full-on gloss because shiny! :P
How would you do a Blackstone version of these? I'm all for my robo dudes :P
