I self-gifted this one for my birthday.

I’m often burning Palo Santo and Sage to smudge around the house.

When I found out that this one has Palo Santo I made a decision to buy it.

Yes, it was also a blind buy.

I really like it.

On my skin it lasts, when I do 3-4 sprays, between 7-8 hours; moderate projection for the first 2 hours; and the sillage is pretty good for at least 5 hours.

After that it’s close
(er) to the skin.

Not many complements, though, but couldn’t care less, since I wear it for me.

The original Private Blend fragrances from (what I think 2007) were nonstop new original bangers no one had done before
I think it was the TV, Noir de Noir, Italian Cyprus, Tuscan Leather, Moss Breches, Azure Lime, Cafe Rose etc...
He has always been so far ahead of his time. In every fragrance from before starting his own line as well.

Prob one of my top 3 Tom fords. I really like it a lot. A deep and dark scent but not to the point that it’s unappealing or too challenging.

Hi Justin, I tried this at Harvey Nichlos last month, I loved the way its made. It is indeed very elegant, may not be unique but it has some familiar notes and other exotic ones that are very well combined. I really like it. The name means literally "smoked ebony". While chatting with the sales person I became aware that Bois Marocain will soon be released, probably is already released. Now that to me was a love at first sniff! Let's see if they kept the original formula in the new release. At the moment for me there are 3 amazing TF to choose from: Costa Azura, Ebene Fume and Bois Marocain.

What i find is on-par with Ébène Fumé is 'Ebony Flame' by Alexandria....for a lot less $$$ it's identical...👍

I’ve smelled this and sampled it at Nordstrom. It’s super pleasant, even interesting but I already own and love the recently discontinued PDM Hamdani which does this type of fragrance so much better imo. Plus, like you say, you need to love to own it, wear it and pay that kind of money for it. Hamdani moves me in a way Ebene Fume just doesn’t.

I only had a very small sample. It seems very dry and powerful, and definitely not for everyone. It struck me as being a lot like Royal Oud in that sense.
The scent profile is very different, obviously. I didn’t hate it, but I don’t see myself wearing it. It is also very expensive.

Justin, so glad you finally got to try this! I will definitely be rocking this a lot more now that the weather is cooling off once again. It's funny when people were first reviewing it they were saying it was weak and no longevity but anything more than two sprays on my skin will blow out a room, and it lasts on my skin at least a whole day and on clothes about a week lol

I don't own it but have smelled it several times at various stores (always on skin). I like it a lot, probably on my Top 5 from the house, if not definitely Top 10.

I bought this for my gf’s birthday. I love it. It’s like an earthy take on Fahrenheit, in the air. And off of a lady it comes across as sexy. It’s fiery to me. On skin it comes across as By The Fireplace vibes from what I remember.

I fell in love with Ébène Fumé from the first sniff and bought a bottle. I don’t know if it’s the Palo Santo that got me, but every time I smell that note I’m happy. Being that I live in a warm desert climate I haven’t been able to really wear it properly yet. Look forward to further comments from you Justin. 👍👍👍
