Can you make a “my most treasured items in my wardrobe” video pls? Great content as always ❤❤❤

With the utmost kindness, please let go of the orange sweater, even as a layer. You deserve to absolutely adore your pop of color, not feel like it just suffices.

content like this is much more interesting than a haul. Thanks

I thought of you today because a site that I was on wanted me to spend “just $20 more for free shipping!” & I was like “no, this all I wanted, I will not be tricked by free shipping!” 😂 It worked; I walked away with only what I originally liked!🎉

While the "milkmaid" dress looks great and is flattering on you, I can totally see how it isn't your style. Meanwhile your greyed teal blazer is fabulous!

I like how you go through your thought process in detail, that's helpful. I think the worst part of the milkmaid dress is its color. Possibly in a deep teal or chocolate brown it might have more "edge." The white just looks like a nightgown, no matter what the silhouette.

I am impressed that there were so few of them. You know yourself.

You would look killer in a ruby red or even a burgundy cardigan! That might fill that spot in your wardrobe.

The cardigan is an orange base red . You should wear a blue based red as it will suit better.

Love your philosophy about using these misses to learn more about our own style - always find your videos so insightful as well as practical!

I’m glad you kept the red cardigan for the reasons you ended up mentioning. As I was watching (before I got to the part where you said you are keeping it) I was saying to myself, “wear it around your waist or shoulders” - that’s what I did with a fine red cashmere sweater that got a big moth hole!

Christina, I have the same struggles with gold jewelry. And what I’ve started doing to offset the color imbalance is pairing it with silver and/or pearls. For me, mixing other necklaces with the pearls makes them less fussy and prim, and the white, for me at least, counterbalances the yellow tones that can be problematic with my undertone. Mixing metals is helpful! I also find that brushed gold looks a lot better on me and when you pair it with very shiny gold there’s a texture mix that also works. I’ve discovered that playing with texture in jewelry can lift an outfit as much as the textures of fabric.

I'm the total opposite on shoes - a slim (flat) shoe I feel too visually top heavy! A chunky shoe helped anchor me down

You just validated me on cardigans! I have wanted to love them forever, but whenever I buy one, I feel like it oddly either makes me look like a child going to church or a much older woman. I've given up trying to make them work and embraced other pieces for layering, but I appreciated hearing someone else has struggled with this super classic type pf clothing!

I really appreciated this video! To inspire to think of why certain pieces aren’t worn, or getting removed from the wardrobe, to learn from it 🥰

Such a relatable video. I try to be very mindful with the new pieces that I buy. But inevitably I sometimes make the wrong choice. It's reassuring to hear how you've problem solved and let go of pieces you tried to make work. Sometimes it’s just not meant to be!

It is crazy how much I resonate with your content. Every video every emotion and every opinion. It’s scary crazy but good

Thanks for sharing!

My wardrobe flops; loungewear trousers without pockets, no drawstring/fake drawstring, long and wide leg so having to watch it didn't drag on floor, especially in bathrooms.

Just bought a few trousers that have none of these issues

You know what has helped me save some of the on the fence pieces - dyeing the clothes. If it's natural fibre (cotton, wool, viscose, silk) it can be done quite cheaply and easily. I guess you have to enjoy making a bit of a mess 😅. But I believe the white dress would be right up your alley if it was toned down to some greyish, tealish tones, or deeper, smokier jewel tone.
