I have been saying it since day one. Our beloved brand was nothing more to Hasbro than dollar signs and portfolio padding. They do not care about the franchise whatsoever. Saban basically built his empire on the shoulders of those spandex-clad Dino kids, so he was always going to treat it as a big deal.

Same with Bandai. Bandai IS sentai/Power Rangers. Say what you will about the bulky sculpts and missing paint...we were able to buy full, transforming Megazords for $30. The Super Megaforce and Dino Charge lines were mind blowing. Product was everywhere, durable and not broken/missing parts/badly painted.

The acquistion of Power Rangers by Hasbro has done such a disservice to our beloved franchise, and you can clearly see that we have quickly become the red headed stepchild of their portfolio.

I miss Saban. I miss Bandai.

(Yes, the Lightning Collection is incredible, when done correctly, but those prices just keep creeping up...)

It's so weird that you can't preorder the master morpher. In Australia we had a online retailer secure some and we are getting it by the end of the month. Hopefully you all get one soon!

Let's hope they make it up to us next year.

I know I know, they'll be no new PR next year, but that gives them the perfect opportunity to do a blow-out Power Month with multiple reveals about the future of the franchise ready for the 2025 reboot...assuming it doesn't get delayed again again.
