Ironically another reason why he has a scar on his neck, is clearly a reference to when in the books, each dragon of hiccup the first, second, and third, had a scar near there. caused by either the Hiccup, or their father. Nice edit btw!

I always noticed the scars and figured a few were from the crash, would always guess that the rest were from attacks/fights he might've had before that event

Edit: actually decided to rewatch RTTE and there's actually a few scars that's been caused during the show so yeah, that's cool to see as well!
