No it’s much more dangerous to have it in a contained space closer to the engine of the truck. Instead of a slow burning trash fire all of a sudden you have a gas explosion, that will send burning debris flying everywhere. He did the right thing. Also, it’s one of these peoples faults clearly, for throwing away something that requires special disposal. Props to the driver.
