completely agree on the Haruki Murakami comment. Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki is another of his books I think has similar vibes as Norwegian Wood, but much less, "oh my god you're the most irresistible man, take me right now" in his few women characters in there. Side note, LOVE your book recs, content and voice so much!!

10/10 spot on recs. I was shuffling my feet on The Secret History and Piranesi but your video has me excited and I’m determined to read them this month.

I love your list, Katerina. I live in Australia, so I am digging into the spring reads at the moment(so I will check out your video on that). But I love your autumnal list of books and the way you describe them is chef's kiss! It is so cool that you know a little Arabic and Spanish!

But ahh, piranesi, book thief, the hobbit and little women are all so special.

You can draw a line from Secret History to Babel without a single curve.

Ok this settles it, the next time I visit a bookstore I'm picking up Piranesi. A few of my friends have been recommending it non stop and like every booktube video I watched in the last few weeks talks about it too. I think it is a sign ><

I would be very glad if someone helped me. I want to read a novel or story that has suspense, romance, and mystery. The female lead is very insecure but loves the main lead and vice versa. The second lead also loves her so much selflessly and secretly but she never notices his love.

Murakami is infamous for his description of women. Nevertheless I love Norwegian Wood.

Norwegian Wood is a book I'd love to pick up. I have Babel on my shelf, maybe I should prioritize it this fall...
