Amstrad Mega PC With Memory, Battery, HDD & FPU upgrade

This is my Amstrad Mega PC 386 SX 25. I was lucky enough to find her from an estate auction where the original owner had barely used it. The MegaDrive portion works perfectly (I have a separate video using my Yamma card).

The Mega PC has been upgraded with:
- 16MB RAM
- A brand new (literally from a sealed box, which I still have) 387 SL Math Coprocessor
- 512MB CF card to replace the original hard disk.
- 3Com Etherlink III ISA Networkcard (a blazing 10mbit)

have you thought about installing an XT-IDE EEPROM onto your LAN card so you can use much bigger CF cards?

Hi there, I recently got one of these interesting machines which is in need of restoring. I am going to take some time to repair it. May I ask what method you used to get Win95 on and the details of the RAM?

This is AWESOME congrats!. I literally just finished installing windows 95 on mine. Do you have any of the original SVGA drivers? I'm not having any luck finding them :(

Just need to get a couple of RAM chips to expand your video RAM. Yours is spec'd up exactly like mine otherwise (including the Etherlink card). A Parallel CD-ROM drive is nice too since there's no 5.25" bay...

IMHO, i'd forget Win95, it's painful for a 386, get 3.11 and DOS 6.22. You won't regret it!
