Outbreak was way way way ahead of its time and its a crime to even put it in this list.

How was outbreak bad? People was begging for a third or a remastered for many years. The only down fall was the freezing bugs of the first game.

I’ll always give RE5 a pass for not being a horror game because it was (and to this day still is) probably one of the most fun games I’ve ever played in my life. It was corny, but completely self aware of it’s corniness. It’s also the most satisfying 3rd person shooter I’ve played.

I personally like Resident Evil 5 and 6, I think they were very fun, the only reason I think they were so hated was because it wasn't really a resident evil game, if it was a game under any other name, it would be way better

Outbreak being in this list just lost this list’s credibility.

Outbreak 2 is one of the scariest RE games. We can see the horror of raccoon city in many differents pov.

Outbreak was underrated honestly. They both deserve a remake or HD remaster. They were so much fun

I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for RE 5. It's too combat heavy & over the top, but dammit, I love it every time Chris beats the s*** out of that Boulder. 😁😁😁😁

"Umbrella Corps" is the only game that deserves being on this list. And it's not even called "Resident Evil".
Literally every single other game mentioned here, from Survivor to 6, did not deserve most of the hate it got.
Not every game in series has to be a freaking copycat of Resident Evil 1 or Resident Evil 7.
On the side note - Resistance was great. It only died because Capcom never ever cared about their RE multiplayers.

I do hope Capcom remakes RE 5 and 6 into a more horrific experience. While being action-oriented, these two games had horror themes that they failed to fully realize.

I like re 6. It allows you to play 3 different campaigns that will connect to each other as the story progresses, not only that but they acts had a good weapon aiming system that actually lets you move while you aim instead of staying in one place. The action sequences work in some places and even adds some horror to areas like the college campus

I actually liked Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. It was nice playing behind the scenes and playing as the bad guys for a change.

I personally favored Resident Evil 6 for its AWESOME Gameplay. Story has hits and misses, but I enjoyed it for what it has. Also, Leon dual wielding pistols, even moving and shooting feels AWESOME.

The "blatantly greedy microtransactions", or "microtransaction", that Mojo mentioned was a simple booster to the amount of "Result Points" (or RP) that you earn at the end of the match. It gives the user a 2x increase to the amount of RP they earn, while giving other players a 0.5x increase, which also stacked if multiple users were using it.

What Mojo fails to mention here is that Resident Evil: Resistance was actually the most consumer-friendly game in the genre, even to this day, regardless of the microtransaction. The amount of RP that was earned in a match or through leveling up was large enough to be able to earn multiple passive perks (called Equipment) after a single match of the game, which were the main things you were earning it for to begin with (outside of cosmetics). This made the booster pretty much just a nice bonus rather than something you actually need to progress (which you didn't).

The only thing that they got right about Resistance anyway was the balance and technical issues, as the balance was ruined by the end of the game's life cycle and some technical issues (such as major game-breaking bugs) persisted. The developers of the game at least tried to rectify these issues, but had to move on to a different side-game by that point because of other factors.

I remember finishing dead aim and when the credits rolled, there were only four voices cast for the entire game:
- The protagonist
- The girl
- The villain
- One guy who talks to you by radio once
and they all sounded like they were recorded in a bathroom
