This has been an ongoing debate in the northern parts of Africa where this famous dish is most popular.

It seems more of a friendly debate but it’s always fun adding my silly sense of humor to a topic like this😅

I was actually born in Algeria 🇩🇿 so I had Couscous a lot growing up.

Just to let you know, long time ago Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia was one country ( les maghrebins ) before French colonization ، so at that time couscous created in The North Africa wich means the 3 of them are the creators of Couscous

I did some some research about this topic, and I found that the amazigh or the berbers, who lived a way before us and they are considered the origins of northern African countries. Started using the couscous which was obtained from the semola. The couscous is like a national dish that is eaten in celebrations or religious festivities and also.

In Brazil we have a dish called "Cuscuz" and its very famous in all of Brazil, and in the northeast region people eat it literally everyday. Its not the saaame as the african one but has a lot of similatiries since its based on the african recipe
