I’ve have watched this video about half a dozen times, not only because of their story but also, to try and recall my french, since I used to be able to speak it when I was in New Caledonia many years ago, in my late teens.forgotten most of it, and so glad to get this in English translation, thanks so much.now I can fill in the words that I missed cheers. French language is the most romantic language in the world I think, now fifty years later I still remember few of the words in that conversation, and surprised myself.loved it.

Hi I keep watching this video over and over, and it brings tears to MY eyes. I got seperated from My child hood sweet heart back in 1959. I finally found Her after sixty years of being apart. It was really good to see her, but that is too many years to be apart. It did not work.

At 7:38 When she says that she's from Bordeaux, Pascal Bataille reply "What a wonderful city" and then Danielle doesn't say "Yes, I agree", in reality she says "I knew it" meaning that she knew that Pascal Bataille would say something nice about Bordeaux because it's his place of birth.
