My aunties old dog was a retired bomb dog, she was a massive black German shepherd she loved playing even when she was in her 20s she didn’t get her birth certificate but I’m not kidding vets believe she would’ve been the oldest dog in the world if they had proof she was going to be given the Guinness world record unfortunately sometimes retired police dogs aren’t given birth certificates
Edit: vets think she passed when she was nearly 40
