I have been making these bars for years & I have always added the condensed milk at the end. They come out delicious.

I made these for Christmas. They were delicious! My layers were graham cracker crust, then sweetened condensed milk, then chocolate chips, then walnuts, then coconut, then more chocolate chips. Bake for 25 mins at 325. Next time, I will add the sweetened condensed milk last to see how it does.

I have been making these bars for years, but I have always added the condensed milk on top of the ingredients. A family favorite.

Shouldn't the condensed milk go in last, on top of the other ingredients to bind everything together?

Tastes and works better if you dump ur milk over the top after you assemble the layers

I love this recipe. I was making it back in the 90s. Lost my recipe from the back of a chocolate chip bag.
Back then it was called s mores. Have to remember to call them 7 layer magic bars.
