I’m trying to connect to the Casiotones CT-S300. It has a mini USB port for midi. The app does not recognize the connection. Getting the app to recognize aux would be best for all types of keyboards. I don’t want to disturb my housemates while I’m using the app.

Lightning cables are no longer recognized for my daughter to practice on her iPad. Wasted money buying another cable thinking it might be a cable issue and still didn’t fix it. Switched to my old 2nd generation iPad using a camera connection kit and an ancient iPad pin connector and it works. This lightning cable issue not working needs to fixed.

I have a new yamahama piano and only have USB connection (like the one in the video). Already test with two cables that i know they work (already use with other app) and this give me the signal of connection and in the instant disconnection, some times it here the sound with the piano speakers but two seconds later show the "disconnect" message

What is going on? I dont find any suppor for this (i have a google pixel 6, i want to practice without making a lot of noise)

I have a keyboard and an iPad. I wanna be able to plug keyboard into iPad if possible. Anyone know the benefits? It would also be good to play quietly.

How is it, that you able to control the midi sound output on the ipad but not the ipad sound (simply piano sound) on the piano. id like to use the speaker from my piano instead of the ipad. it works with syntheasia (just for tasting, not practicing ;) ) so y not on simply piano?

I have 2 keyboards at home. One of them belongs to my daughter (roland ex20) and the other is mine (roland ea7). With my ipad mini 6 using a usb type B to type C cable, roland ex20 can easly recognize the keyboard midi. But for roland ea7 I could not manage to connect midi to ipad. When I connect the roland ea7 to my pc or my android phone theres no problem. What sould I do?

Why does this drain my iPad's battery so fast? I have a yamaha keyboard plugged in via ac adapter, and my ipad is connected via usb to lightning, and as soon as I start using simply piano with the ipad, the battery drains like crazy.

When i connect my piano to my tablet etiher i still have the sound from the app and it does not register notes or it does register notes when i accept but i does not give any sound of the app only the piano

sir am simply piano user from 2 yrs i have a small suggestion. ur couses and songs and beta all great but why dont you do grade vise courses for trinity and abrsm ORDER VISE with prescribed pieces for the year and yester years respectively also the exercises and technical work. hope you do it soon . anyways ur simply piano is doin great for our growth god bless tq

So far connecting is a nightmare
When phone connected to Roland fp10 using midi USB b and an android phone USB c it plays piano sounds from the app as well as the backing track

If I connect wired headphones to piano then it only swaps the piano sound into headphones but backing track and a second set of piano tones emanate from phone

I have an iPad Air 5th generation that uses usb-c. My piano doesn’t have a MIDI port(s) but only a usb port so we connected the usb port to my iPad and it says ‘Simply Piano will use MIDI input instead of acoustic recognition’ what does that mean?
