The great Samurai Miyamoto Musashi once said - do not, under any circumstances, depend on a partial feeling.
What Musashi is referring to here is to not make decisions based purely on your emotions or without the full facts.
Now does that mean that you should never take your emotions or feelings into account? No - human intuition and gut feelings are very powerful tools that we can use.
However it is important that we also are able to put our emotions and feelings to the side and analyse situations from a rational perspective and get the full picture.
Making half-hearted or purely emotional decisions is essentially making the worse decision.
Trust but verify - Listen to your feelings - even the partial ones but don’t ever solely depend on them.
There is no sixth sense but rather a sharpening of the 5 we already have
When you act, you are better off being 100% certain of what you are doing, not wavering or full of doubt. If things are not crystal clear or you don’t have the full facts - then wait for them to become so - so you are then able to make that decision with the upmost conviction and belief.
