As a muay thai fighter, I find karate style of front kick is just beautiful thing to watch. All of our kicks are like being hit with a hammer, where as JKA kicks are like spear stab. Absolutely fantastic

Sensei Ueki is such an inspiration. For those who don't know, those side kicks demand a lot of flexibility and for a man ages 80 - well it's as if he has been in a time machine. And his front kicks snap and are targeted. So this is a most excellent karateka now. Imagine what he was like 40 years ago!!!! A marvellous example of a man. Has to be said, his father and mother passed on some great genes

I feel very lucky to have trained with Master Ueki and Naka Sensei as well.
Master Koyama also trained very hard at a very old age. I remember him very fondly.
A great example to follow what we have in front of us, also my Sensei Hector Suarez, a great example, is like 65 years old and if you saw how he moves he would be impressed too. He is the first seventh dan JKA in Mexico.
I hope to continue training until the last day of my life.

Mein Karate- Lehrer, K. Ogawa Sensei ist nun 75. Jahre alt und wird dieses Jahr 76.

Es ist so unglaublich, wie fit und voller Elan man in diesem Alter noch sein kann, wenn man täglich an sich arbeitet.

Wenn Ogawa Sensei das Aufwärmtraining leitet, hören manche Karateka auf, während er noch nicht mal schwitzt.

Ich verneige mich vor diesen Sensei's.

80 years and still practice Karate? Unbelievable! That's what's up! This master would probably put any young Karate-ka in America to shame! I hope to still practice Karate when I reach his age!
