In celebration of Mickey Mouse's 90th anniversary and Singapore’s 53rd National Day, Raffles City Singapore collaborated with The Walt Disney Company to launch the first “Mickey Go Local” campaign. Part of Raffles City Singapore’s long-running Arts in the City programme, the month-long campaign features a host of activities, including a public exhibition of 90 Mickey Mouse figurines designed in Singapore style by individuals from different walks of life, including President Halimah Yacob, JJ Lin, Nathan Hartono and even yours truly Alvinology Media. Watch this video to check out some of the cool designs.

Do pop by Raffles City from now till 29 August 2018 when the figurines are on display. When you are there, you can do your part for charity by simply taking a photo of yourself with the figurines and posting them to Instagram with hashtags: #RCSArtsinthecityPC, #Mickey90, #MickeyGoLocal, #CapitaLand and #CHPFC. CapitaLand Hope Foundation will donate S$10 per hashtag to President's Challenge.

Mickey Mouse Go Local is terrible animation. How did Disney approve this? I guess the 1.7 billion Asian peoples money had something to do with it..
