ABOUT ME: Hallo, Servus, and welcome to my channel! My name is Felicia (Feli), I'm 28, and I'm a German living in the USA! I was born and raised in Munich, Germany but have been living in Cincinnati, Ohio off and on since 2016. I first came here for an exchange semester during my undergrad at LMU Munich, then I returned for an internship, and then I got my master's degree in Cincinnati. I was lucky enough to win the Green Card lottery and have been a permanent resident since 2019! In my videos, I talk about cultural differences between America and Germany, things I like and dislike about living here, and other topics I come across in my everyday life in the States. Let me know what YOU would like to hear about in the comments below. DANKE :)

Who else is learning German and pauses constantly to try to read everything? Love seeing Munich, Feli!

I was in Nuremberg in 2005 and it just happened to be Fruhlingsfest. While on the train to Nuremberg some locals adopted me and told me to skip the sights and hang out with them at the fest. I had such a great time! I then learned about the summer Volksfests and went to some in the area I was staying. I want to go back for a Fruhlingsfest!

I think I actually prefer these casual out and about videos.

Cool video! I'm an American living in Munich for more than 30 years and can confirm that it's a fantastic city and a great place to live.

Luv your YT channel!!! In 1974 my 1st husband Terry was stationed in Munster b Dieburg ( Hesse ) & when we married in June 1974 I went to live with him off the Kaserne ( 545th Ordinance Company) in a small apartment in a high rise in Munster. I’d live to return some day. I love watching your videos it bring back pleasant memories!! ( Terry passed away in 2002 at 48 yrs old )

Marienplatz still looks wonderful. My wife and I spent a week in München a while ago. We love the city, the food, and the people. Grüß Gott!

Enjoyed watching… I lived in Munich in the late 80s for 2 years while working for Siemens. I’m Australian and that was my first time overseas. Loved and enjoyed Munich very much… the people, food, and off course the beer 🍺👍😋

Between this and the Black Forest Family in Germany, there are unique things found to different Bundeslander there. Feli in a few minutes showed us what the spring festival in Munich is like. Travel vlogs aren’t the easiest in the world to do because so many different sights grab one’s attention. That said, the portrait of Munich at this time of the year definitely stands out! If Feli took up a life as a digital nomad, people I’m sure, would enjoy this kind of perspective as much they like her informational content about German culture.

Your public transport seems modern and clean and I love the culture.

Crepes with Nutella! I used to make an, all to often, detour on the U-Bahn in Frankfurt and go the the Hauptwache station. There was a stand there that made crepes and I always got one with Nutella. I am sure it is long gone, but a very vivid memory for me.

About 40 years ago, I was on a tour in Germany, and had a day to spend in Munich. It was wonderful. Friendly people who mostly could speak English. We saw a parade and the Glockenspiel. The subway was on the honor system - almost unheard of in the U.S. Everything was super clean! The Engineering Museum was awesome. Hofbrauhaus SO good - the band, the beer, the sausages!!! You can have Cincinnati; I'll take Munich! 😄😄

Wonderful, light hearted video. I'm so glad that y'all could get out and enjoy the festivities!

The Texas State Fair In Dallas does have a Wild Mouse ride (The Crazy Mouse here), a Geisterbahnen plus I think 2 fun houses on the "MIDWAY" where all the games and rides are located.

Mmmm... white asparagus...

It's really good to see you back in your native city and element, Feli, where everything is familiar, like a comfortable old pair of shoes!

This video made me sooo homesick. It's been many years since I lived and worked in Munich, but most everything looks like it did back in my days there.

I miss Munich, stayed there for two days on my honeymoon and could have stayed there for weeks. Very nice city. Thanks Feli for the memories.

I ended up in Munchen after visiting the Dolomites (doing via ferrata) and had a great time exploring the city, everyone was really friendly. Really lovely food and beer :-)! For some reason I'd always imagined Munchen would be very industrial, concrete, bleak and forbidding - it was lovely to be proven to be completely and utterly wrong! Beautiful city!

I remember the Wild Mouse at Coney Island here in Cincinnati, this was before Kings Island, and as a ten year old it was scary to watch. I'm almost 67 but Munich is still on the bucket list. Thanks.

My grandfather is from Germany. I hope to visit someday. Until then continue to enlighten me on the culture. I enjoy your videos very much.
