I'm a doctor with life-threatening allergies myself! It's SO IMPORTANT for people to be educated on how EpiPens work - you could save a life!! To reiterate CYP2D6's comment: *Blue to the sky, orange to the thigh* - and call an ambulance for help immediately!

Doesn’t it say on the pen or the packaging it comes with how to inject the pen? It’s pretty obvious it’s her first time doing this, she should maybe read the instructions

Honestly with so many people having allergies, the proper way to use an EpiPen should be taught in school. (Along with CPR and other life saving and even basic skills.)

Can she not inject herself with it?
If she is instructed by a medical professional to not inject it by herself shouldn’t she still know how to use it so she can instruct others?
