Ive been using this, its not just random gen, EVERYTHING is customizeable, from temperature, to population, emblems, roads, the heightmap, rivers, markers, states, etc. very usefull overall and it saved me hours of time when making a custom map

My freshman science teacher actually used this website for a project. Basically we would create our own little world and then study it and its temperatures, agriculture based off of the terrain and temp, animals, imports and exports and all kinds of stuff. After this we did a slide show and a paper on it. A lot of my classmates said werent to fond of the project but for me it was one of the most creative, funnest and most rewarding projects ive ever done.

Such a good map maker. Love using it for new campaigns. My current compendium of campaigns take place in the same world just different points in time or different universes. Makes for a much more engaging campaign. Keeps the players guessing as to why names and locations change.

I use Azgaar, and it's even more than that. I've messed around with terrain, changing the map, and there's several sub-areas to map over as well. Want to put nations? Subcategory. Religions? Subcategory. Types of landscape it is? Subcategory. You can even write descriptions of locations, mess with the population described in cities, there's a link to another site within it that you could use to make city emblems, you can make rivers and roads...

If you have a campaign over a world you made and you want to have lore, resources, and the entire map on hand in one, I couldn't recommend Azgaar enough.
