She fled the country and went under plastic surgery just to alter her appearance immediately after being interrogated. You don't have to be a detective to know she's guilty. She also sounds like an extreme narcissist to actually believe she can get away with what she did by pleading not guilty. Trying to put blame on Colin is enabling toxic behavior in relationships. What she did was evil. She committed murder over jealously. There is zero excuse for something that heinous.

The first case was much more complex. Caitlyn left him first and started getting jealous after Colin got a new partner, despite her casually meeting other men. The three were cyclists and they eventually had the same group of friends, which is why Mo was less wary of Caitlyn despite knowing she was jealous. Coffeehouse crime did a great job with that case just recently.

As a gravel cyclist myself, you left out one of the most disturbing facets of Moriah Wilson’s murder: the fact that her murderer found out where she was because of the GPS sports app Strava. Normally, it would censor out your exact position, but not when you’re not at your house or work. Because she was traveling for the gravel race, she wasn’t at home, and was therefore vulnerable to people being able to track her GPS location, which was revealed when Mo went on several rides around the area.

My mother once told me about an encounter she had back during high school. One night, still in her school uniform, she was heading back home from a study session. Suddenly, she told us, while walking in a dark street, she felt a shiver on her back and quickly turned around, only to come face to face with a strange man brandishing a knife, held over her head. As soon as my mother came face to face with her would-be attacker, the man nonchalantly apologized, saying he mistook her for someone else, and went about his own way, leaving my mother behind in shock.

My mother was mere inches away from being in the wrong place at the wrong time that night. This would have probably been back in the late 70s or early 80s.

Thank you for not following the line "she let out a bone chilling scream" with a sound clip of a scream. I even braced myself for it, but you're a class act, as always, Lazy. On a tangentially related note: I think what the guy in the first story did, while scummy, shouldn't be saddled with Mo's death. I've been in similar situations (obviously not to that degree), and I know that even if he had broken up, given his ex time, then started just seeing Mo, it likely would have ended the same way.

11:29 "She had apparently gotten Botox surgery several months prior and run off without paying. During her initial interrogation, detectives noted that Caitlyn was, quote, 'Very still, and didn't move at all.'"

Didn't expect to laugh so hard during a Lazy Masquerade video lol

The videos of Matt Flores with his daughter were the most heart wrenching.

I doubt that Matt was killed through mistaken identity. It’s likely that if it was a case like that, the initial driver would’ve been killed instead. Feels a little suspicious that the military record happened to disappear too. Plus the execution style killing with no witnesses is something that says trained killer to me

Wow! Matt’s killer was extremely lucky. Right where the crime occurred, was a blind spot where the camera didn’t record. That’s so infuriating.

The Matt Flores case just gets me right in the gut every time I hear of it. I lived and worked in that area around the time that this happened, and I remember it being on Unsolved Mysteries, too. My heart breaks for his widow and daughter.

Mo's case is equally heartbreaking. It was no one's fault but the killer's.

This video hits too close to home. I had a very close friend we all called "Mo"; her name was Mona. She was murdered almost 18 years ago by her boyfriend. I still love you and miss you, Mo!!

If someone suspects that you committed a murder, and your first actions are to flee the country and get plastic surgery so you look different, I can't think of anything that makes you look more guilty than that...

The military is sadly notorious for shady people doing terrible things and getting away with it. That was so sad, a young dad with a wife and new baby, all of that taken from him, and him taken from them.

I actually think it's a little ridiculous to come at him for being "indirectly responsible" for Caitlyn's actions.

It's completely unreasonable for someone to assume that cheating is going to result in an actual murder. I know that might seem logical to some, I don't know what they're thinking, but I'm positive most people wouldn't go through with this the way Caitlyn did. They would've just broken up with him.

To quote Dante’s Inferno:
“Only the murderer will justify murder”
While Colin is a douche, Katlin could have walked in and moved on from that “relationship”. She made a conscious action to kill. The fault is on her and her alone.

The photo of Matt and his infant daughter at 17:35 is heartbreaking. He deserved a long happy life watching her grow up, and she deserved a dad 😞

That first one, no, he wasn't "as responsible" as her. Cheating and MURDER are not anywhere close to the same level and that is if he even WAS cheating, he was definitely meeting up with her but she even said he only wanted to be friends. Don't lessen what that crazy broad did, she is at fault SOLELY.

The first case is just… I don’t understand why people go crazy over their partner leaving them for someone else. I know how much it hurts and it’s a shitty thing to do, but all you can do is just say good riddance, try to cope, and find someone else who wouldn’t do this. Or perhaps spend time with your family and friends and build a support network.

8:39 the stock footage of the mysterious blob moving oddly to represent something that shouldn't be was hilarious

Anyone blaming Colin for his girlfriend murdering another person needs to seek professional help. Accountability for your own actions is a problem certain people in society always struggle with.
