About the Anne Frank House
The Anne Frank House was established on 3 May 1957 in cooperation with Otto Frank, Anne Frank’s father. We are an independent non-profit organisation that runs a museum in the house where Anne Frank went into hiding and we try to increase awareness of Anne’s life story all over the world, encouraging people to reflect on the dangers of antisemitism, racism, and discrimination, and the importance of freedom, equal rights, and democracy.

However, in the 1959 movie, "The Diary Of Anne Frank, " Anne gets her diary, pictures of her favorite movie stars, and a picture of Queen Wilhelmina from Otto Frank at the end of the their first day in hiding. However, in real life, in the movie, " Anne Frank: The Whole Story, " and in the limited series, "A Small Light, " she gets her diary for her 13th birthday, on June12th, before they go into hiding and she already has her pictures of her favorite movie stars before they go into hiding.😮😮
