There are a few dragons that I left out of this video, they will be on the next one. That includes:
-Larendrammagar "Nexus" - CR 37
-Palarandusk - "The Unseen Protector" - CR 36
-Raulothim - "The Silent Shadow" -CR 34

Scheduling issues are the strongest monsters in D&D. They make your whole party roll impossible wisdom saves.

i like how a CR 39 character is just an author self-insert.

To give you an idea of Larloch's influence, as a mortal, Szass Tam attempted to raid Warlock's Crypt along with several other Wizards of Thay. He was the only survivor, and ended up making some kind of deal with Larloch, who now both trade magic items with each other to this day.

For power, one time Larloch let over 200 lich subordinates freedom to see what they did. Most attempted to destroy Myth Drannor, causing great damage. After the whole event, Larloch came in person to apologize for their actions, and gained respect for Storm Silverhand after she allowed him to look at her Silver Flame.

I wish D&D would make a game or website where you could play with others who want to play at any time. With an in depth character creation system, DM's and players all across the world. Imagine the money it would pour in.

The more I learn about D&D, the less I feel I know about it. All the lore, and it's all so deep! (and there are dragons!)

MrRhexx, do you think you'll ever do a video about immortality in the D&D universe? Like the different ways it's obtained, what are their forms or limits or costs, etc? Ways it could be reversed maybe?

Before watching the video, Imma claim the one true best monster in D&D is the players.

17:09 MrRhexx: "The *impossible* challenge rating of *50*!"
Me: "What about the Force and Prismatic Dragons? Y'know, the only ones with the classification of 'Epic'? At Great Wyrm, Force Dragons are CR 59. On the flip side, Prismatic Dragons surpass CR 50 by the time they reach 'Very Old'!"

"the one monster with CR 50" but prismatic dragons got up to CR 66. which means a prismatic dracolich could be anywhere from 67-70 depending on edition.

Solar, full stop. 150ft movement with a 600ft longbow that kills at low hp is nuts

Well yes, but actually no

The thing that makes Elminster truely op is his one level in fighter.

Near the end of Baldurs Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, you meet Elminster, again. You can ask him if he is here to stop you and he answers with a negative, saying that he is not crazy enough to challenge you.

I actually really enjoy how he set the sense of scale. Namely in 21-25 CR monster being able to take over a city. I’ve tried writing up some monsters like that and they usually ranged from CR 22-24. They’re about on the level of Kaiju but could take on a city or a high level adventuring team with some good help. I will make some more powerful creatures like them meant to essentially take on nations and they’ll likely be about CR 33-35. Think Something like Godzilla Earth or something along that line.

Also about Tiamat’s Stats, I think that’s probably because it’s just an Avatar, a projection of her power. If she truly manifested her real power, it’d likely be low to mid 40s in CR. At least from stuff I’ve checked.
