Worse than having no sight is having no vision. Humans have minimal vision, usually limited to their passions and interests. In the story of "Blind Bartimaeus," Jesus opens his eyes because he asks and overcomes the obstacle of peer pressure. Then, he consistently prays with Jesus' prayer.
