I love the native support of side view. Its such a small thing but I feel like it makes a huge difference in quality. Also the mobile option is great for the type of games that are typically made with this.

I didn't care much for it till I went to their page and read:

"37+ Plugins made by some of the most respected RPG Maker scripters in thecommunity such as Yanfly, Yami, Galenmerth and Neonblack."

I'm more worried about transferring my game to this new system, because I have no idea if most of my script I rely on will work. At least on month 1.

I really hoped they would allow you to move outside of the basic grid natively now. For example, like Chrono Trigger instead of Breath of Fire 1.

Why didn't they add the ability for side views in rpg maker vx ace?

This is probably the best version yet, although it's riddled with bugs at the moment. All in all, it does everything you wished RM2k3 could have done back in the day. Very satisfied with this one :) I wonder if there's a script for "event bubbles"?

Example: a path is 4 tiles wide and 20 tiles long. Say you wanted an event to happen midway down this path, you'd have to create 4 different events to make sure the player triggers the event.. An event bubble would cover all those tiles with 1 instead of 4.
