I have always loved RPG makers, i have bought VX myself and done some little test projects. Even tho i am not that pro with RPG makers i will pre order this!

I have a dream - where an RPG exists - and the lead character is not a teenager who just got woken up by his mum, and he has to see the village elder because he's come of age - and then shit happens and you gotta save the world.

This dream..I could make it come true..but I'm just too lazy even though I don't have to do any programming.

@siegroplays mc: it's a new engine (rather updated with a few more Features but still), with higher resolutions for better graphics, Export Options for mac, iPhone and androids and more Features than ACE.

What does the MV mean? And what did the VX mean? Are these just random letters or is there a meaning behind them I'm ignorant of?

if only rpg maker had built in battle systems like legand of Zelda not just ones like final fantasy that would be cool I just got this software today so can't wait to try it out.

$70 tho.... whole are they trying to appeal to, professional game devs? Lower it to $40, the older version VX is 7 years old and is the same price with the 10% discount for MV... WTF, bad business tactics...
