So glad you got a floor bed with a frame that keeps it just a bit off the floor! Putting the mattress directly on the floor is what a lot of people do and it means the bottom doesn’t get any air and it can grow moldy which is not good for their babies health of course 😢.

You can turn this later into a raised bed. Home Depot or Lowe’s sell premade furniture legs for beds, tables, nightstands etc. you just drill a hole and screw the legs in.

My little boy at 18months is probably going to be upgraded soon, we bought him a bed off of fb marketplace when he was around 3 months old that is a floor bed, he is still in our bedroom as we havent finished building our house yet and everything in there was babyproofed before he could crawl, listening to them is the best thing you can do when it comes to them growing up

Im just very thankful to see someone give their kid a bed that fits them. Im not that old but ive had a twin size bed for about 9 years. Its nice and its a loft bed, but there are times that i feel crammed because of the size of my bed. I have seen some content creators with young children, moving them into a normal bed get their kid a full size. Its honestly kind of annoying but then again, it is their child and their choice.

Edit: I understand that some ppl can't afford to buy larger beds, and im not bragging or complaining. I have an older brother 1 year older than me and he has a queen size bed, but that's only because my parents finally bought a king size for themselves and gave my brother the larger bed since he's older and they made it fair by giving me a loft bed.

Edit: apparently the twin size is different in America than in other place (I’m American) and the only reason I moved up from the bed id had my whole life was because my sister moved away for college. This was just to clear up any confusion because people were telling me that they love their twin bed and are like 24.

I’ve seen a lot of transition beds and this probably one of the safer ones I’ve seen, low/on the floor with bumpers so the tot doesn’t fall

When she doesn’t want the floor bed, you might even be able to flip it over and then you can set the bed on top of it rather than in it

Thank you for letting her pick the colors of her sheets and quilt. My 4 year old granddaughter loves to pick pink for her colors and dressed herself today. So proud of herself

Those beds are genius. As an older Mom, I wish I had that 28 years ago when my eldest son had to be moved out of his crib at 9 months. He was quite the escape artist and the dr sid no more crib.

I remember when we were getting ready for my little brother they gave him my old crib that also turned into a toddler bed and I help my dad paint it. I was so happy. 😊❤ we painted a gray.
