My brother is Arabic. He is married to a Japanese woman and has a child with her. He has lived there in Niigata for eight years, and he always enjoys the snow, because in our Arab culture it is a good omen, a symbol of abundance and a beautiful manifestation of the beauty of nature. Of course, the people of Niigata adapt to all phenomena when They study it and study how dangerous it is, and learn from all the difficulties; Therefore, you will find them finding solutions every time for all of these situations that you mentioned.

Thank you sharing about Niigata. Living in Niigata is not so easy. You have to be strong and brave.

I guess without a car you don't have many chanses to visit that place during winter. You must have had a unique experience. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Wow! That expressway drive in the evening was scary. But I want to visit that part of Japan someday, not in winter but maybe in spring or fall. By the way, nice trip.

If given a chance to visit Japan, I just want to stay in Tokyo
You are funny while telling your experience 😁

I think I'd like to live in the snowiest areas of Niigata tbh. I find myself a little less comfortable in the heat than most people but I find myself to be exponentially more comfortable in the cold than most people. I think I'd genuinely be the most active person in town if I moved there. I don't even drive, I mostly cycle so I don't even have to worry about driving. The only problem would probably be the snow shuffling but I can get my way around that

Hilariously, most of the reasons you didn’t like Niigata are why I want to live there. This video was helpful because I could think about the worst parts of life in a snowy city, and now I know that I don’t mind and could live there happily.
I was like, “Ehhh, you don’t want to get up and shovel snow every morning?? It’s great exercise and you’ll warm up so fast!” 😂 So actually, life in Niigata would probably be good for me.

Getting out the car and then eating and then back to the car and then driving, lol that’s sounds like everyday life in America. why so many Americans are fat. Never really walking lol.

Fortunately, people in Niigata are also happy to see ungrateful tourists leave so it all balances out 😅
