After much research on both machines I completely agree! If you're looking at the 3060 variants, the G14 is the way to go. If you're willing to spend about $200 more the G14 (at this high of a price 200 isn't that much) the Blade 14 3070 variant takes the cake with an upgraded processor, 1440p display at 165Hz and, of course, the 3070 graphics card

If you’re looking at their 3060 models, get the G14. If you’re going for 3070 and above, knock yourself out with the blade 14. Not a hard choice

G14 for the RAM upgradabilty alone is a reason to choose it. No you don't need 40+GB for gaming but other tasks it will make a huge difference over the minor factory advantage the Blade 14 has in raw performance

The Asus’s HDMI port isn’t connected directly to the 3060, so HDMI VR headsets don’t work through it! Got the Razer and my old WMR headset works great without any adapters. That being said, you can get an entire headset for the money you’d otherwise save

Got the blade 14”. It is replacing my custom pc desktop. Thing is a powerhouse like no other. I’m talking gaming at high resolution high FPS, switching to davinci resolve editing, and whole exporting I’m editing thumbnails. This thing is the real deal
