The chalk "workaround" dusting it into fingers first was genius. The others are all possible...except I don't see how the aluminum foil one could have been done. The crinkle sound happens because the natural oxide coating is a lot more flexible than the aluminum metal underneath, and each individual "pip" noise of the crinkle happens when the metal part finally snaps into place with the oxide shape once it bends enough. A glow stick works similarly, the film that separates the chemicals goes "snap" once you bend the stick far enough and allow the chemicals to mix. There is simply no way to prevent this happening.

An opposite version of this challenge could be cool. A try to be as loud as possible challenge. Just give them objects that don't make much sound or take a lot of effort to get noise.
