US Airstrikes Hit Houthis Across Yemen | Subscribe to Firstpost

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces said that it struck 15 targets across Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. CENTCOM is the military command responsible for the US forces in West Asia. The US military said that the strikes were to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer. Meanwhile, Houthi television network Al Masirah said four provinces were struck, while four strikes were reported in Sanaa and seven in Hodeidah. The US strikes came a day after Houthis claimed a drone attack on Tel Aviv. The Israeli Military said it "intercepted suspicious aerial target" off central Israel. On October 1, Houthis struck two vessels off Yemen's Red Sea port of Hodeidah, inflicting damages on both of them.
