I have both of these games on my PS5.... I don't know what happened at 2K, and who they have doing face models and lighting in the PS5 version, but everything about the PS4 one looks better to me. When it comes to the players skin tone, eyes, faces, muscle definition, the court. Its crazy, its like because of how much money the online city stuff brings in, the new gen actual NBA game takes the backseat. There are some new things with the controls I like on PS5, but for the most part i think the PS4 edition is more fun, and faster basketball action. The gameplay, shooting, paint play, randomness of basketball is so much better to me on PS4 one. It's kind of mind blowing! Idk why it took a step back in realistic graphics, but im jot Tripping. The NBA experience is better on ps4 to me. I hope PS5 team really steps their game up, its sad actually.

Next gen ruined the skin tones and lighting. Ps4 looks better.
