When base cards, even rookie base, starting becoming a thing, the market was bound to have a huge market correction. This even goes for greats like Jordan, Brady, Duncan, Lebron and others. Even graded base cards of these is not very wise to invest a lot in. With the correction now and even if it goes even further down, investing in HOFs is still the way to go. Yeah, Lebron and Brady aren't there yet, but they will be. You have to think about who are the kids now-a-days going to want when they are in their 30s and 40s. We saw a huge spike with Jordan because all us 30 and 40 year-olds grew up watching him play and want his cards now. Will they still be valuable in 10-20 years, but not as much as other current greats. That's why I like KD, Steph, Kyrie, Westbrook, CP3 and of course Lebron and Brady as far as long term holds. I'm just a casual collector and lately been buying a lot of Ohtani RC. But not planning on re-selling them but I buy cards because I'm a fan of the player. Also, Ichiro cards. But everything else, I just sell regardless if I make a profit or not. It's just to fund to buy cards that I really like.

4th round QB'S don't have big rookie contracts so teams don't feel obligated to put the time and effort into developing them into starters but if there vested into a early round QB they get every opportunity and some to prove them selves and publicity look at Andy Dalton, mark Sanchez, Brady Quinn and countless other bumbs that went early and are awful qb's that had no business starting they had contracts so they got every opportunity to start.

One big suggestion to the market movers service though, would you guys consider formulating a card index benchmarking some major card prices just like what they do in traditional stock markets? I think it will be very useful for the members to keep track of the overall level of the card market. Of coz, it would be some hard work to figure how what should be the index constituents be.

Thanks for the info, I'm not sure about Kelenic, he's been 0-34 as of 6/6. His 2018 Bowman Chrome Draft First Year has dropped significantly. It's extra sad because I'm a Mariners fan.

Why sell when the cards are low and buy when the cards are high? Shouldn’t it be the opposite. If you just follow everyone else you will never make money.
