The “bean” in the middle is not a bean. It’s some kind of dry-erase like marking that gets erased by either a bean or the pencil rubbing it out.

How many did I count? Well, I counted nine then after one was removed and I counted eight so my answer is correct . Or I guess I have no way of proving there are beans which of course would change the number as well.
