Auralex DeskMAX: Small Size, Big Acoustic Impact!

In a previous episode, we took a look at the Auralex ProMax, which provides a great way to manage acoustic treatment for your home studio in a portal way.

In today's episode, we are looking at a newer similar product from Auralex called the "DeskMAX", which is a "short" version of the ProMax. Because these portable baffles are shorter, it can help manage some lower end frequency build up at the bottom of the room (if you don't have any bass traps). And it can help with sound control where the sound source is closer to the floor.

I find these can work great when recording drums, guitar cabs, bass cabs, or even to help in your console room.

Since these are portable, you don't have to worry about damaging walls if you in a situation where you can't always the room you are in.
