great video. I have always wanted and SE 5a (not the SE 5) I am a British expat and I am happy to see at last a good SE 5a. Point of interest. The markings are for a real royal fly corp pilot and not just any pilot but one of the RFC's top pilots. The markings are those of James McCuddem DSO, bar MC bar and Victoria Cross. James McCuddem had 57 confirmed victories. James McCuddem died while flying back to the front lines on on July 9th 1918. Another point of interest the RAF was formed on April 1st 1918.

Hello, in about 1993, I went to the local airshow. There was an elderly fellow (60+y.o.)there with his 4/5ths scale SE-5. Watched him take off to fly home.
There is a fun movie that features the SE-5 called " The High Road to China ". Rom-Comish. You and the " Camera Crew " might get a kick out of it.? " Hey! "

Reminds me of my old Parkzone SE5a (dismantled up in the loft). This seems to be a much better beast. I might resurrect my Parkzone for a while before getting one of these.

I had one from E-flight 5 to6 years ago. It flew well just needed nose weight. The original one had an optional tail wheel or skid.
