Small tip to prevent water getting in the wooden floor at the hole for the rigging. Just drill a bigger hole then needed then fill it up with thickend epoxy and then drill the hole in the epoxy so the water can't seep in to the wood.

I’ve restored my own glass boat; a 1981 Rover Ox. It was extremely rewarding, but an incredible amount of work. Your vid contained in 15 min what took me 1.5 years to complete.

Great job, and I can’t wait to see more!

Got to say having 4 guys working as a TEAM, you guys banged it out .Just redecked, glassed, gelcoated a 200 Aquasport alone took 3 months..

Absolutely LOVE the girl's hair whipping the camera lens at the end. That is ABSOLUTELY the desired intent of all that very hard work. Bravo!

The boys really know what they're doing! No matter the circumstance, doing what's necessary to do things right. OUTSTANDING WORK!

A festool sander and vacum would be a perfect tool to add to your shop if you don’t have it already. Festool sanders and the vacuums collect about 95% of the sanding dust. They are expensive but well worth the money.

Always check for trailer damage. Excess overhang can belly the bottom near the transom. That acts like a big trim tab in the down position. You can't press it back out. The only way to fix it is to flip the boat and professionally re-glass the hull. The boat will nose dive and bow steer. Pick another hull to work with. There are plenty out there to choose from. Fiberglass stringer are a must for me.

Would love to see the blister repair and exterior respray. My older Grady has a lot of small blisters very much like whats on this boat and I'm starting to research repair options.

How about cutting out the entire deck, drilling the stringers to check for rot, probably replacing them too, then building a new deck ? 06:50 rotten wood on the deck is a bad sign for whats under the deck.
Leaving the hull/stringers uninspected is a mistake in my view.
Also what was the transom wood's condition ?

Love to guys grinding in short sleeve shirts right when you said suit up lol. Sometimes ya just accept the itch over cooking in a suit.

Looks like the gelcoat was delaminating not the resin.

I've always used a roll-on bedliner for my floors. Good non-skid surface and durable.

I drove to Lady Lake Fl back in July. I took back roads hopeing to find a "project" boat to bring back to NC. No luck. I'll keep looking.

I kinda like the way the bow is laid out, room to throw ropes and beer cans, but I bet when you get going fast it blows it all out …. Including the leafs that accumulate

How much fiberglass resin was used on the repair?

Nice work once again! I really like your straight forward and practical approach to these projects; confidence inspiring for folks that are taking on projects on their own. I’m sure you and crew had some WTF moments as you discovered and had to fix the shoddy work done by someone else in the past.

Hey fellas. I have a 88 Angler 19’ project I’ve been working on for almost a year and your videos are my bible. Lol. Love you material. Now I need to do the paint. Have a few questions.
